Jessica Nielsen is an illustrator and surface pattern designer who loves to make bold and bright coloured designs. Most patterns are inspired by shapes and colours in nature (an endless source of inspiration) which she then translates into her signature graphic style with strong shapes.
Moodboards and hand-drawn sketches are the basis of her pattern designs. Usually she uses her sketches / experiments as inspiration for digital drawings / designs, sometimes she scans the original sketches and enhances them on the computer.
