Get to know Leah Duncan, the designer of Furrow which is now arriving in stores.
Leah Duncan Leah splits her time between Austin, Texas and Asheville, North Carolina where she enjoys spending time in nature with her husband and two young daughters. Her dream began with an Etsy shop in 2008 which quickly grew to include retailers internationally carrying her work and textiles as well as collaborations with large brands featuring her surface patterns and illustrations. She is self-taught. She loves chocolate, sunshine, and caring for her many house plants. Her heart lives somewhere between the Appalachian Mountains and the high desert of the Trans-Pecos in far west Texas.Her line consists of locally sourced textiles, stationery, and home goods with many items produced by hand in her studio. Each piece in Leah’s collection reflects her unique sensibility and soft color palettes. Inspired by a strong love of nature she has established a recognizable voice that speaks simplicity and beauty with quirky and organic themes.
Furrow explores nature with prints featuring seeds, plant pots, mother nature, crops, dandelions, tulips, and garden creatures big and small. Leah’s signature style shines through with soft color palettes, organic shapes, and a folk-art influence. Meander through the prairie and take in the view of this whimsical yet sophisticated collection that brims with unexpected creatures, shapes, and flora.
Comforts of Home is a collection inspired by the simple things that can soothe one’s soul. Mood boosting pets and greenery to vibrant citrus scents and healthy foods. This collection is a celebration of creating a calming space for self care.
All That Wander is about finding beauty in the unexpected. A reminder to cherish the journey; the moments in-between. To gather experiences, appreciate their fleeting splendor and continue onward. The real treasures are what can be found when one wanders.

Stardust is a super groovy and sparkly quilter’s weight collection inspired by our deep connections to each other, to nature, to the cosmos. It’s a celebration of nature’s many magical forms, a world where rainbows talk to flowers and we take our cues from the moon. A world where everything, and everyone, is made of stardust.
‘Sow and Sew’ was inspired by the move towards creative lifestyles, sustainability, taking time for yourself, and the simple joy of growing and making things. The imagery is based on new growth and motifs related to allotments, vegetable patches and herb gardens; small ways to connect with nature and the outdoors. These are represented in a clean and contemporary way, with fresh, modern palettes that invite new sewing projects – available on quilter’s cotton and canvas.
