In places far far away, time moves slow. We are in touch with the land. We watch the sun set. We look to nature for guidance. We spend our days working with our hands, weaving, and putting love into the things we craft. Inspired by Elizabeth’s travels and eternal wanderlust, this collection is a window to Faraway Places.
This collection illustrates a beautiful early morning walk in the woods, when the newly damp air is greeted by waves of dancing mushroom blooms and graceful garden snails. The collection was named after the small wonders under the timber trees.
“Business Class is for ladies. Ladies who set up spreadsheets and change diapers and pay the rent. Ladies who like pretty blouses and suing for breach of contract. Ladies who are ‘fast, thorough, and sharp as a tack, who are touring facilities and picking up slack,’ in the immortal words of Cake. Here’s to women who are getting things done.”

“Fanciful is a homage to blooms and blossoms, inspired by my late grandmother, Grace, who loved all things floral and fancy, especially roses. Her style influenced my love of color, fashion, and design from an early age. She loved dressing up in bright floral prints, had an impressive collection of elegant hand-painted floral teacups and a house full of artificial floral arrangements.
This collection is a celebration of the shapes, lines, and colors of those plant kingdom standouts and I feel certain Grandma would approve of this collection of prints, which offers a more sophisticated turn from my previous collections.”
With key colors and festive motifs, Noel is designed to celebrate the Christmas season. Joyful, hopeful and loving hearts are the moods to be delivered and shared with quilters when preparing for the holiday.
Use these prints to make unique holiday decorations and meaningful gifts!
With Sarah’s ever growing love of plants and nature, Terrestrial focuses her thoughts on the smallest details of plants to a large living wall. She loves to see a rigid concrete surface taken over by climbing, creeping, sprouting organisms. Closing in on a mossy tree, imagining the lichen as an embellishment of sequins and stitches on a rough trunk. Terrestrial is inspired by lines and marks, organic and manmade.
Soft colors and adorable animals make this collection a necessity. Printed on our ever so plush cotton flannel, these sweet creatures make the best cozy apparel or blankets you could imagine. They’re so great in fact, that we decided to add the same prints on quilter’s weight. The options are endless! Included in this collection are 4 solids, each in flannel and quilter’s weight, that coordinate perfectly with the three prints.
‘Whitehaven’ tells a story of an English summer with its vast skies, pretty meadows and gentle flowers. Inspired by memories of long summer holidays as a child, each pattern is named after a place in England that has a particular meaning for me and evokes a special memory. The colour palette is bring yet soft, giving a feeling of warmth and sunsine.
“It all started when I bought Alphild’s house on Elliot Avenue. Meeting Alphild, with her amazing black beehive, dramatic taste in wallpaper, and love of costume jewelry was an unforgettable start to the many happy years I spent living on Elliot Avenue. Each pattern in this collection is named for one of the colorful characters who helped make this street home.
There’s Eyja, the grey cat from Iceland, Frankie with myriad rescue dogs on parade, Rianne and her Swedish décor paired with a kitchen ceiling of Italian glass, Helly the chocolate lab next door, Mia who loved walking through our garden, Claire the designer, and Alena who longed for California…all of these and many more stories are woven into the fabric of Elliot Avenue. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did!” – Kirsten Sevig
