We liked working on our new logo with Jessica Jones so much that we asked her if we could work together some more! This fall we’ll debut our first barkcloth (!) collection on which Jessica’s retro style will be perfectly suited. Let’s learn more about Jessica:
As a child, Jessica Jones enjoyed both art and science. During her pursuit of a chemistry degree in college, she realized she missed art and changed course to graduate with a degree in design communication from the University of Minnesota.
Curiosity and a love of problem solving serve her well in her work today as a graphic designer. Jessica spends the majority of her time developing brand identities and marketing materials for businesses and universities.
Frequently she switches hats, however, and designs surface patterns for fabrics, wallpaper, ribbon, and other products. Her textiles have appeared on accessories and home furnishings at Nordstrom, Target, and The Land of Nod and been spotted in Glamour, Real Simple, and other publications.
In her spare time, Jessica created How About Orange, a blog featuring DIY tutorials, decorating ideas, and design inspiration from around the web.
