We have another free project to share. This one, East West, by Melanie Shortman Tuazon features Koi and is suggestive of the way the blocks alternate directions but also because of the eastern inspiration of the fabric blended with the western quilting technique. Melanie’s own family blends Asian and American traditions so it has deep meaning for her.

Koi should be here in a matter of days – and judging from the inquiries lately, waiting for it has not been very easy!
